Nestled between the bluffs of the
St. Croix National Scenic Riverway and the glacial eskers of Western Wisconsin, Krooked Kreek is
quickly becoming the permanent home of golfers from near and far. Golfing in
the serenity of the prairie and natural wetlands you are sure to see and
hear the ducks, whitetail deer, foxes, turkeys, pheasants, Sandhill cranes, and other native wildlife.
Krooked Kreek was first opened for play in 1990
with only the front nine holes available. The back nine holes were added in
1995 to complete our challenging 18-hole facility. As the name
implies, a crooked creek winds through the course offering challenges
to the golfer while showing off the countryside wildlife and floral beauty.
With the front nine greens being
generous in size and somewhat level, the back nine greens are smaller with
more pitch and plenty of undulations to test even the experienced golfer.
While the fairways provide generous landing
areas, water and DNR wetlands can come into play on 11 holes with an
errant or miscalculated shot. The golfer who knows when to lay up
and when to go for it will be richly rewarded.
At Krooked Kreek, our goal is to ensure everyone, golfers and non-golfers, feels welcome with our friendly staff
ready to assist. We go that extra step to ensure your visit is
enjoyable and pleasurable.
The
Stillwater Gazette says Krooked Kreek "posseses an unusually down-home
friendly ambiance... a challenging track surrounded by beautiful, natural
wetland... This course deserves your attention."
The Chisago County Press
says Krooked Kreek is a "perfect blend of nature and skill, forcing the
golfer to be at his best, in the best environment around... good balance for
golfers at any skill. From casual on up, it offers something for
everyone."
Krooked Kreek is located just two miles east of
Osceola, Wisconsin on County Road M and just 45 minutes from the
